Moodboard

Here is a mood board that Oliver and I created together. We created this by deconstructing the most important pieces of text which we thought could work well within our music video giving it an Indie Pop feel to the video. After we deconstructed the lyrics we went onto the internet and gathered images for the mise-en-scene side of the music video so we have a better idea of what props we need which we found out would be wellies, coat, scarf, trousers and outside clothes as well as dog toys to show that his dog is well looked after and very loved. The reason to why we wanted to add warm clothes to the script is because there is nothing a dog loves more than to be walked and if we want the audience to know that he loves his dog he needs to be outside with his dog where he is happiest which also links back to the Indie Pop genre as not many music videos are outside and walking a dog making it unique and different.

Risk Assessment

I have conducted a risk assessment for our camera shoots to help make us more prepared for anything that could go wrong during the filming process. This means that we will have all the essential pieces of equipment so there is nothing to delay our filming. It also means that it is all written down so I can double check that everything so nothing is left behind or forgotten ruining production time.

Risk

How to stop this
Camera.
May break/ damage the camera.
Not very likely.
Always keep in its case or war safety belt around your neck if it’s out of its case.

Look for a backup actor who can take them over in very short notice.

Bring an umbrella to help make sure the camera doesn’t get wet and check the weather so you know whether it’s meant to rain or not.

Audience Feedback - Survey Monkey

I conducted some research creating a survey through Survey Monkey to help get other people's views on the music industry and the genre I am planning on doing for my main task which is Indie Pop. I have shown the questions that I asked and then shown the results that I was given after this for my questionnaire as shown below. A lot of people have listened to Indie Pop before because from 37 people who answered my questionnaire only 2 people said they haven't heard of Florence + The Machine.
This shows that the genre I am choosing to create my video on does have a fan base meaning people will enjoy it if it's made properly and to their individual needs. I will be publishing the music video through Web 2.0. (YouTube) which is free to do as longs you have internet, this is good as 3.2 billion people had access to the internet in 2015 and 70% of people who answered my questionnaire watch music videos through their phone or laptop which means this is the best way to broadcast the music video as I can also share it on my Facebook and other social media networks.
